The Iran-backed Houthis killed the son of a businessman and looted his property in Hodeidah Governorate, west of Yemen.
Local sources in Hodeidah Governorate said that the terrorist Houthi militia, on Wednesday, raided the house of the businessman Ahmed Hassan Bandel, who is one of the social figures, and tampered with the contents of the house and stole one million Saudi riyals, and then killed his son in front of everyone.
The Houthi militia expanded the looting of everyone working with them, and brought malicious charges against them with the aim of covering up the looting and confiscating the property of the people of Hodeidah governorate who refuse compulsory royalties.
Political observers considered this a series of targeting and abuse against the honorable sons of Yemen, and it will affect everyone without exception, noting that it comes within the framework of the Houthis' organized and broad approach to humiliate and eliminate all businessmen in their areas of control, and enable their loyalists to dominate commercially.
Observers said that the Houthi leaders were able, throughout the years of the war that they ignited, to collect huge financial fortunes as a result of the royalties and levies imposed on the population in the areas under their control, which imposed unprecedented economic burdens and hardships on the Yemenis.
