The necktie, The first signs of Iranian dominance over the leadership of the new Houthi government

Informed sources in the capital Sanaa told Yemen Details that embarrassing situations occurred for leaders of the so-called new government appointed by the internationally unrecognized Houthi militia.

As ministers gathered to take the constitutional oath in front of Mahdi al-Mashat, the president of the so-called Supreme Political Council, his security guards removed "neckties" from government officials and several ministers. The Sources said.

The first to be subjected to this humiliating situation was Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi, who was appointed by the militia as the president of its government, and his deputy Jalal Al-Rweishan.

Al-Rahawi and Al-Rweishan appeared without wearing a necktie, which they used to wear before the formation of the militia for their new government.

Observers saw this action as a message to these leaders, indicating that they are under control and have completely lost their powers, as well as an attempt to impose the Iranian model even on a personal level for its leaders.
