Project Masam Clears 1,839 Houthi Explosive Devices in Yemen in a Week
Project Masam's demining teams have neutralized 1,839 explosive devices across Yemen this month, including Houthi-planted landmines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices.
The recent weekly clearance operations removed 26 anti-tank mines and 1,813 other dangerous explosives from 146,396 square meters of land.
Since its launch in June 2018, the humanitarian initiative has cleared 66,651,306 square meters of Yemeni territory and eliminated over 330,000 explosive threats.
Project Masam continues its critical work protecting civilians from war remnants and enabling safe returns to reclaimed areas.
