by : Yemen Details
The December 2, 2017 Revolution entrenched revolutionary concepts among millions of Yemenis, from the moment the former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh announced the launch of its first spark and assumed its leadership with courage and patriotic dedication, due to its close connection and extension to the September 26 and October 14 revolutions, which carried the torches of liberation from the clutches of the Imamates and their perpetuity, in light of what the homeland suffers from the new Imamates.
Ali Abdullah Saleh was the only hope for millions of Yemenis. Before he was the head of the largest party in the arena, the General People's Congress, he was the political and leadership figure most capable of managing crises and wars, and saving his people, as he succeeded throughout the years of his rule of the country in dealing with many - on the local and international levels - in addition to his ability to manage international political files with brothers and friends, according to the member of the political bureau of the People's Democratic Party "Hashd", Naji Babakr.
Political analysts believe that Saleh, under his leadership of the December 2 Revolution, turned the tables on the Houthi militia and demolished the temple of their tyranny over the heads of their leaders.
The harbingers of the December 2, 2017 Revolution began on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from the Al-Saleh Mosque, when the Houthi militia attacked the mosque and then attacked the political district and Haddah neighborhood. the Military expert, Abu Attan Abdullah Al Mankali said.
According to Abu Attan, the motive for this attack was that the Houthi militia carried out a plan that was directed externally by Iran and Qatar due to a statement made by Ali Abdullah Saleh before December in which he exposed some of their papers.
On December 2, 2017, Ali Abdullah Saleh called Yemenis for a popular uprising against the Houthi militia in defense of the republican system and the freedom and dignity of the Yemeni people.
On December 4, 2017, Ali Abdullah Saleh, and Aref Awadh Al-Zouka, Secretary-General of the GPC, was killed by the Houthi militia.
