Former U.S. President Donald Trump informed Russian President Vladimir Putin during a recent telephone conversation that resolving the conflict in Ukraine is of paramount importance and expressed his willingness to facilitate a resolution, according to Kremlin adviser Yuri Ushakov.
Ushakov also relayed that Trump indicated a near-completion of an agreement concerning the conflict with Iran. President Putin conveyed his satisfaction that hostilities would soon cease, as stated by the Kremlin adviser.
The conversation also included a personal note, with President Putin extending birthday congratulations to Trump in an informal manner.
