Bournemouth Star Eli Junior Kroupi Out for Months with Broken Foot

Bournemouth's exciting young talent, Eli Junior Kroupi, is set to miss the next three to four months after suffering a broken metatarsal during preseason training.

The forward sustained the injury at the team's training camp in Austria and has already undergone surgery after returning home. This blow comes as new manager Marco Rose begins his tenure, aiming to build on the success of his predecessor.

Kroupi's injury, while a significant setback for Bournemouth, could put an end to intense transfer speculation. Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham, along with French giants PSG and Liverpool, had all been reportedly monitoring the player.

Despite the interest, Bournemouth had maintained they were unwilling to sell their star player, whose previous season saw him score an impressive 13 goals in 33 Premier League appearances. Kroupi was expected to be a key figure in Rose's strategy for the upcoming season.

With Kroupi sidelined, other players like Evanilson will need to step up and fill the void during the initial stages of the season.
