The ministry stressed the independence of its regulatory and financial decisions, ensuring they are not influenced by any considerations lacking legal or professional basis.
In a recent statement, the ministry detailed that it has undertaken a series of regulatory and financial measures, including reviewing numerous files to ensure compliance with prevailing laws, regulations, and statutes.
The Ministry reiterated its dedication to fulfilling its duties in accordance with established laws and regulations, prioritizing the public interest. It affirmed its adherence to objectivity, transparency, and sound governance, applying approved procedures uniformly to all matters without exception.
Furthermore, the ministry reaffirmed its commitment to implementing necessary measures to support fiscal reform, enhance the efficiency of public resource management, safeguard public finances, and solidify financial and institutional discipline within its legally prescribed scope of competencies and authorities. This aligns with Presidential Leadership Council Resolution No. (11) of 2025 and government directives on comprehensive economic reform priorities, aimed at bolstering the confidence of regional and international partners in state institutions.
The Ministry also stated its intention to continue performing its duties with professionalism, responsibility, and independence, disregarding what it termed "systematic attempts and campaigns" to undermine its institutional role. It affirmed its readiness to clarify any procedure or decision through official channels and in accordance with approved legal frameworks, thereby ensuring the public's right to information and fostering trust in public institutions while upholding the integrity of procedures and the confidentiality required by public interest.
