Manchester United is reportedly standing firm on their managerial situation, with sources indicating that interim boss Michael Carrick still has the support of both the club's top brass and the majority of his players, despite a rough start to the season.

This slump marks a stark contrast to the latter half of the previous season when Carrick took the helm and steered United to a third-place finish with an impressive 12 wins out of 17 league games.

He clarified that Manchester United has made no moves to approach or contact potential replacements for the manager. "As of today, Man United have not made any movement to contact other coaches," Romano stated, emphasizing the club's current stance.

"At the club, they believe that compared to other situations Man Utd had in the recent past where some players were not so happy with the coach, in this case, they believe the large majority of the players are absolutely backing and supporting the ideas of Michael Carrick," he explained.
