The Hill reports that in a June 21 CNN interview with Jake Tapper, White House Trade Adviser Peter Navarro said that COVID-19 is a “product of the Chinese Communist party.”
Navarro added, “we know that that virus was spawned in China. That is what I mean.”
Tapper asked, “You think it was purposefully created?” Navarro answered, “That’s an open question.”
In the same interview, Navarro said that China “sent” Chinese citizens “to spread” COVID-19, though whether that was “on purpose” was an “open question.”
Let’s not forget that, Jake. China created this pandemic. They hid the virus. They created that virus. And they sent over hundreds of thousands of Chinese citizens here to spread that around and around the world. Whether they did that on purpose, that’s an open question.
