Yemen: A political statement threatens with a new war, warns the government of a military coup

Three Yemeni parties considered that the installation of (the leaders of the Taiz axis) as a supervisory authority over the local authority and its executive offices, is a flagrant attack on the legal institutions and the legislative system regulating the work of state institutions.

A statement issued by the Yemeni Socialist Party, the Nasserite People's Unionist Branch, and the National Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party Branch in Taiz, said that what the Taiz Axis leadership has done is a new coup against legitimacy.

In a statement published by the Nasserist Popular Unionist on its Facebook page, said that these civil parties described these actions as a blatant attack on state institutions and resources, practices that do not go beyond being a reproduction of the practices followed by the Houthi coup militia.

The parties demanded the Yemeni Presidency to take the necessary legal measures against the military leaders who assaulted state institutions in Taiz, to dismiss all those who signed the report, and to quickly refer them to the judicial bodies.

The parties rejected what they described as illegal coup measures, calling for resistance to these practices in various forms of civil and peaceful struggle in defense of the state and its legal institutions.
