The Iran-backed Houthis launched a campaign of arrests and killings in the areas they recently controlled in Yemen's Hodeidah, following the redeployment of the joint forces from those areas in implementation of the Stockholm Agreement.
During the past four days, the Houthis committed war crimes against civilians in Hodeidah Governorate.
The militia arrested more than 200 civilians, most of them young men, 4 civilians were beheaded in areas and villages in the districts of al-Hali, al-Durayhimi, Tahita, and the city of al-Saleh. Sources said.
They threw their heads on public roads to intimidate the population, in violations similar to the crimes of the terrorist organization ISIS. Sources said.
According to local sources, the Houthis raided several homes and carried out a campaign of arrests that targeted dozens of opponents, while hundreds of families were displaced from the areas controlled by the militia.
According to a military source in the First Brigade, along with the West Coast, 7 soldiers from neighboring villages in Al-Durayhimi District, south of Hodeidah, were executed in cold blood, their bodies mutilated after their capture, and their homes burned.
