Iran-backed Houthis force students of Sanaa University to attend sectarian courses

Student sources at Sanaa University said that the Iran-backed Houthis have forced students to attend sectarian courses since the beginning of this week.

The supervisors of the Houthis in the faculties of commerce, Sharia, law and education sent some of the students to attend sectarian courses. Sources told Khabar Agency.

The Houthis resorted to forcing university students to attend sectarian courses in preparation for sending them to the battleground. Sources added.

The Houthi supervisors told the students that participating in sectarian courses would exempt them from attending lectures, in addition to giving them additional grades.

A union source in the Sana'a University held the Houthis fully responsible for their irresponsible behavior, describing forcing students to attend cultural courses as a terrorist act.
