Disputes within the Iran-backed Houthis expanded

The circle of disputes within the Iran-backed Houthis have been expanded, and it now goes in favor of Tehran's wing in Yemen, after it managed to surround Abdul-Malik al-Houthi with a group of his loyalists, and isolate him from those close to him.

Informed sources said that the ideological wing controlled by Iran had prepared major corruption reports against the Minister of Education in the Houthi militia government, Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the brother of the group's leader, after accusing the Council for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs of blackmailing international humanitarian organizations working in Yemen.

The Council for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs is managed by Houthi leader Ahmed Hamid, the appointed director of the presidential office, who is known as the president's chief.

The sources confirmed that the Minister of Finance of the militia government, Rashid Abu Lahoum (one of the arms of Mahdi Al-Mashat and Ahmed Hamed), prepared corruption reports against Yahya Al-Houthi, under the directives of Ahmed Hamid, and the report was referred to the Central Organization for Control and Accountability.

According to the sources, Yahya al-Houthi was unable to confront the Twelver ideological wing, which has become all focused on excluding the al-Houthi family from the scene.

The sources revealed that the anti-Houthi family wing assigned a person named Qassem Al-Hamran Abu Kawthar to run the Ministry of Education in the Houthi militia government.

In September 2021, Yahya al-Houthi, admitted his group's blackmail of international humanitarian organizations working in Yemen.
