Conflict within Houthi's state widened

The the continuing escalation of conflict within the leaders of the Iran-backed Houthis is expanded, in which members of the high leaders pressing for major changes in the military joints and in the state apparatus that the militia have controlled since their seizing of the capital, Sanaa, in late 2014. The Houthi militia are preparing to appoint a military leader called Abu Abdullah Al-Razami to a senior official position, in addition to important changes that will include ministers and leaders in the unrecognized Houthi government in Sana'a. The sources revealed.

Old Houthi supervisors grouped against the leader of the group Abdul-Malik al-Houthi by pressing for changes in a number of official bodies, including the presidential office. Informed sources said.

The sources, who refused to reveal their identity, said that those supervisors are pressing to dismiss the director of the presidential office Ahmed Hamed and replace him with Youssef Al-Faishi.

In the context of the Houthis' setbacks in the battle of Marib and the mutual accusations between the Houthi wings, a large part of the financial and logistical support for the supervisors of the Serwah and Balaq fronts in the Marib governorate was stopped.

Military sources confirmed that Marib had caused a rift that transcended the senior leadership among the Houthis themselves into numerous and major disputes between high-ranking leaders.
