Confirmed sources in the province of Saada told 2December Agency, that the half-brother of the militia leader, Yahya Al-Houthi, who appointed as Minister of Education in the Houthi government is been holed up in Saada as the conflict within rebels escalated.
Yahya Al-Houthi left to Saada more than a week ago, after Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the so-called Supreme Political Council (the presidency of the state in the militia authority), referred a report on the corruption of Yahya Al-Houthi to the Central Organization for Oversight and Accountability headed by Ali Al-Imad, who works in the Mashat wing and director of his office, Ahmad Hamed.
The sources said that the one who prepared the report was Rashid Abu Lahoum, Minister of Finance in the rebels government in Sanaa, who is loyal to Mashat.
The Houthi Ministry of Education is currently run by Qassem Al-Hamran, who was appointed by the rebelsas deputy Houthi minister.
This comes in the context of the conflict of the wings between the leaders of the narrow circle surrounding the militia leader Abdul Malik Al-Houthi.
The corruption report came within a war of reports that recently broke out within the Houthi wings, in a way observers see that the fire of conflicts toutches the Houthi family itself.
