Yemen: Houthi Mines Continue Taking Lives

A citizen was killed and another wounded by a Houthi landmine explosion, on Sunday, in the city of Hays of Yemen's Hodeidah.

Local and medical sources reported that a landmine exploded on a motorcycle carrying two citizens while they were passing on a dirt road in their hometown, Al-Hashash village.

Mohammed Talib, died on the spot, while his relative, Arafat, was wounded by scattered shrapnel in the neck. The sources said.

The minefields of the Houthi constitute a nightmare for the people of the western coast, in particular the Hays district, despite the successes achieved by the joint forces engineering, as hardly a week passes without casualties among the citizens.
