"Regain Yemen" condemns the Houthi confiscating citizens' property

"Regain Yemen" condemned the Houthi confiscating citizens' property in a number of governorates under their control carried, and stressed that such criminal acts against the Yemeni people will not pass.

"Regain Yemen" organization confirmed, in a statement, on Wednesday, that it is conducting continuous monitoring and documentation of the looting and confiscation of homes, lands and property carried out by the Houthi terrorist group and their disclosure to local and international public opinion, and is working on preparing files for their trial, documenting their crimes and supporting victims to restore their rights.

The terrorist Houthi militia are currently carrying out the most heinous crime against everyone who refuses to join them through organized and systematic looting, reinforced and exploited for that in state institutions under their control". The statement said.

"These criminal practices amount to collective punishment against civilians and the IDPs from the militia’s areas of control, which is considered a war crime in international humanitarian law, according to Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention". It added.

"Regain Yemen" called on all international and local organizations working in the field of human rights to carry out their moral and humanitarian duty, condemn, monitor and document these crimes, and legally support the victims, so that the perpetrators of these terrorist crimes do not go unpunished.
