Speaking on condition of anonymity, the official briefed reporters on Wednesday, reading aloud the 14-point memorandum that is slated for formal endorsement in Switzerland. The official described the impending meeting there as "critical" for advancing the memorandum of understanding towards a comprehensive agreement.
"I think the meeting in Switzerland will be quite critical in order to really see how we get to the next phase," the senior U.S. official remarked.
