A rollover collision involving two vehicles in Whittier on Sunday night resulted in ten individuals being transported to the hospital, with three in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Pauline McGee, a spokesperson for the department, stated that among the ten patients taken to medical facilities, four sustained minor injuries. The conditions of the remaining three individuals were not immediately available. McGee did not specify the number of injured parties from each vehicle or the cause of the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Telegraph Road and Biella Way.
The Fire Department received the dispatch call at 9:11 p.m. and arrived at the scene four minutes later. The department reported some damage to local infrastructure, though the specific nature and extent of this damage were not detailed by McGee.
Information regarding any arrests was deferred to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. A representative from the Sheriff’s Department directed inquiries to the Norwalk Sheriff’s Station, which was unavailable for comment on Monday evening.
