Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated on Wednesday that American hostility towards Tehran will remain constant, irrespective of which political party holds power in the United States or any concessions Iran might offer. Khamenei asserted that any individual believing otherwise is "greatly mistaken."
His remarks followed the Republican Party's setbacks in the recent US midterm elections. Khamenei issued a stern warning, indicating that Iran's response to any future American aggression would be significantly more substantial than any previous actions.
The Supreme Leader highlighted Iran's past actions, including the destruction of US bases in the region and its management of the Strait of Hormuz, as integral components of its broader campaign against American hegemony.
“The US sees the end of its hegemony as distant; we see it as near,” Khamenei declared, underscoring his perspective on the shifting global power dynamics.
