Abdulrahman Saleh Al-Muharrami, a member of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, asserted that the ongoing battle to restore the state and liberate the country from the Houthi militia necessitates steadfastness across all fronts. He specifically lauded the "heroic stances" of the Southern Armed Forces in confronting the Iran-backed group.
In a statement addressed to the Yemeni people and the heroes of the armed forces stationed on the front lines, from the West Coast and Bab el-Mandeb to various confrontation points, Al-Muharrami stated that the Southern Armed Forces have demonstrated courage and resilience, thereby dismantling the illusions of the Houthi militias. He emphasized that their actions serve as a testament to supporting the oppressed and confronting the Iranian agenda.
Al-Muharrami urged fighters to maintain their resolve and steadfastness, stressing that the campaign to restore the state and free the country from the Houthi group extends beyond military confrontation within Yemen. It is intrinsically linked to safeguarding regional security, given the threats posed by the group and its Tehran-backed project.
He affirmed that the determination, willpower, and fortitude of the combatants are fundamental to achieving the desired objectives, calling for continued confrontation until the state is restored and the Houthi militia's control is ended. Al-Muharrami also expressed appreciation for the role of the Arab Coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, noting that Yemenis and coalition nations are engaged in a single battle, sharing sacrifices in a common trench to achieve what he described as fateful and shared goals.
