The Iran-backed Houthi militias have acknowledged that over 270 of their fighters have been killed this month on various battlefields in Yemen, within 13 days.
In a special statistic announced by the Houthi media, the militia lost from the July 10, 2020 to February 23 of the same month, 74 Houthi leaders, 203 fighters, mostly children.
During the recent period and almost from July 17 to Thursday 23 of this month, the Houthis have formally recognized the death of some 129 fighters, the majority of whom were children.
Houthi media announced additional 21 of their fighters were killed on the battlefields, but did not mention the names of their provinces, tribes, or ages, as it had announced the previous names during the past thirteen days, which indicates that these dead may be foreign nationals, as observers see to be from Iran or Lebanese Hezbollah.
