Yemen: Houthis burn a war prisoner alive

Irada Organization for Combating Torture and Enforced Disappearance denounced on Monday the Iran-aligned Houthi militia for burning an army prisoner to death.

The non-governmental organization said lieutenant Abdulhafid Al-Tahri, a prisoner of war, was burned to death by the Houthis group after torturing him and cutting parts of his body.

According to local sources, Al-Tahri was taken prisoner last June during the fighting that flared up between Houthi militias and government forces in Al-Baida, in central Yemen.
