The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency stated that the captain of a tanker reported hearing a loud explosion in close proximity to the vessel while it was sailing in the area. Simultaneously, Yemeni sources reported that Houthi militants launched a missile toward the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday afternoon.
